Rhodes Old Town:
Best to Start at the Old (Medieval) Town of Rhodes,Getting Lost here is an adventure.
Between the shopping streets such as Sokratous you will find ancient Buildings, every corner smells like history.
and for serious sightseeing i recommend (with 6 euro fee admission) to enter the "Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights" it is grand as it's name and impressive.
The New Town is very different with modern attractions such as brand stores & coffee shops and still it is near one another. you can take a walk between the old and the new city without taking a cab, it's that close.
Where to Eat :
Zizi Restaurant - One of the Best Greek Food I've ever eaten, the Tzatziki and the Dolmades are to die for, all the fish plates are wonderful.
The Village of Lindos:
Lindos is the Pearl of Rhodes, A must see place if you are traveling Rhodes.
it has the famous Acropolis which you need to climb a lot but it's worth it. on the way up you will discover beautiful inside market streets, if you are lucky enough, you will get lost and will find a great homey restaurant. lindos has absolutely beautiful beaches , My favorite one was the intimate small but the prettiest of them all - St Pauls Bay. if i had more time i would stay in Lindos a few more days, it was a true Paradise.
